Coronavirus Resources
for Candidates

We're here to help.

Here are some of the most common questions we're receiving from candidates about our hiring process in response to COVID-19.  We know the situation is changing rapidly and will be sure to update this page with additional information as it becomes available:

Is Cigna, Express Scripts, Accredo, and their other affiliate brands still hiring?

Yes, Cigna, Express Scripts, Accredo and Freedom Fertility are still hiring for open posted positions. We are adjusting our hiring process to ensure we are creating a safe environment for our employees, candidates, and the public.  To view all recent openings, conduct a search, and apply, please visit this link.

Can I make my in-person interview a virtual one?

To protect your health and the health and safety of our colleagues, we will be looking to shift most in-person interviews to virtual interviews where possible.

If you are still scheduled for an in-person interview and do not feel comfortable attending, you should notify your recruiter immediately.

Most of our recruiters and hiring managers have access to virtual meeting services and company phones to conduct interviews. At minimum, candidates will need a phone to participate in interviews.

What if I feel ill on the day of my in-person interview?

If you feel sick, have a fever, or have been in close contact with a person diagnosed with COVID-19, do not attend your in person interview.  Instead, follow the guidance outlined by the CDC, your regional and local officials first. Second, contact your recruiter to reschedule a virtual interview or postpone until you are well.

I'm nervous about going to a drug testing facility, what should I do?

All of our drug testing facilities do not support COVID-19 testing.  We encourage you to call ahead and check with the facility before completing your drug test. You may ask the facility about the precautions they’re taking to keep their facility clean too.  ***At this time, we are not granting extensions for drug testing.

My start date is coming up soon. Is Cigna offering work from home accommodations for new employees?

Upon your first day, some new hires may be eligible to work from home. Please reach out to your new manager to discuss this further.
